I work for a certain organic herb distributor and I talked for over an hour with this amazing woman the other day. It was a welcome break from my day. She is is so alive and vibrant with wisdom, there are notes upon notes in her customer account about how she is such a joy to speak with and she certainly has charmed our entire customer service office. Unfortunately however Sarah’s condition has taken a turn for the worst. She hasn’t been able to leave her room since October. Her neighbors spray chemicals (like febreeze or raid) on purpose when they see her outside checking the air quality because they are cruel and think she is crazy, which is a common reaction people have towards people with chemical sensitivity. As if it’s an outrageous and ridiculous notion that heavy metals, plastic, chemicals, sythetics, may have serious and adverse, even life-threatening effects on some people. There are entire off the grid communities of people with MCS and yet they still aren’t qualified for many government programs even though many end up deceased at an early age directly because of their disease. Sarah pointed out that her life has become so unlivable that the animal shelters wouldn’t let her adopt after the death of her best K9 friend. Yet it’s okay somehow for her to have to endure it. It’s heartbreaking to me that because this disease is uncurable, and can be misconstrued as leftist conspiracy, or that she is anti-capitalist, that it has been manipulatively shielded from the public and these people are forced to live like modern lepers. I really wish the best for Sarah and I hope that anyone who read this can lend a helping hand to this beautiful soul.
